About CONCERN

CONCERN is predominantly a student organisation, which tries to generate debate on socio-politico-economic issues in the academic and scientific community. It was formed in 1994 during the Narmada Bachao Andolan by students in Indian Institute of Science. Since then, we have held many talks, discussions, documentary and movie screenings and have taken part in various other activities in and outside of IISc.
